We are a full-service animal hospital, providing medical consultation, preventative care, complete laboratory services, diagnostic radiography, dentistry, surgery, and more! Your pet’s treatment options will always be discussed with you.
We are dedicated to make sure you fully understand your pet’s health and to answer any questions you may have.
ERICH ROUSH, VETERINARIAN (DVM)
Dr. Erich Roush has been with Lavitt Animal Hospital since 2016. Before coming to Lavitt Animal Hospital, Dr. Roush received his degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and worked in both Las Vegas, Nevada, and southeastern Wisconsin. As an avid Chicago Bears fan, he was naturally drawn to the Chicagoland area. Special areas of interest for him include dentistry, surgery, and preventative care. In his spare time, Dr. Roush enjoys spending time with his cats, Eins and Hobie, as well as sailing, snowboarding, and ballroom dancing with his wife, Michelle.

RILEY MERCADO, CERTIFIED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN
Riley has been a member of our team since 2018! Riley graduated with Honors from Penn Foster College for Veterinary Technicians and obtained her Certified Veterinary Technician license in 2023. Riley has been trained in Fear Free handling techniques and applies her training to ensure pets in her care have the best experience possible while in our hospital. Riley’s hobbies include reading, painting, baking and spending time with her cat Mojo and her two dogs, Dexter and Simba.

My kitty had a surgical procedure with Dr. Erich Roush. He was very thorough during the pre-surgical consultation. And he called me, the very second her surgery was done, to follow up with me. I appreciated so much. Thank you, Dr. Roush, for taking such good care of my baby, Chloe.

This place is the best! Came for a second opinion before our dog had surgery on his ears. Dr. Roush was so caring and spent time reviewing other options- luckily we tried his way (meds) and all is fine now. Besides saving a ton of money we also didn't put our dog through surgery. I can't say enough about this place- I'm just so glad I found it! Highly recommend and the place has a cool vibe to it. Thank you Lavitt Animal Hospital!m know how much I appreciate them.
